"No race, No life!", that is how Kaito sees it. "I made my road racing debut at the age of 5. I had become interested when playing on an electric motorcycle that I got for Christmas as a 4-year-old."
Kaito's favourite subject at school is physical education and otherwise he loves surfing and any marine sports.
Since then his family has supported and encouraged his racing. His racing hero is Casey Stoner and he wants to follow the Australian and also become MotoGP World Champion. He aims to set off on that path with high expectations for 2016. "Of course, Red Bull Rookies Cup Champion!.'
In 2014 he says he learnt how to win and recalls his best race. "It was the MFJ All-Japan Road Race Championship at Autopolis Circuit in Japan. It was my first victory in the All-Japan Road Race Championship." He also won the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup.

Then in 2015 he enjoyed his first Rookies Cup season. "I learnt many things, what it takes to win races in Europe against European riders, it certainly isn't easy. My best race was at the end of the season, the final race at Aaragon. In the end I crashed but at least I was running at the front and battling for the win."

He expands a little on his 'No race, No life!' philosophy. "I believe always going for the win, it is winning that satisfies me. On any bike I ride to win and I enjoy being part of the team, working together for that victory."
