"I'm sure it's going to be a great year. Coming to Europe, it's a great thing and I'm really looking forward to Mugello and Assen, they look like fast fun tracks. It's great to be at the GPs and the competition in the Rookies Cup this year is very strong. It's probably be a bit different to racing in the US last year. Last year in the US all of tracks were fun and competition was smooth, no contact, I just enjoyed it and put my head down."
"I know that this year is going to be faster and harder. I have a lot to work on myself, trying to get braking down and get out of corners better. I am also working on losing as much weight as I can. In the off season back home I've been riding flat-track and training, cycling and running, whenever it was too cold outside we'd go to the gym."
"I hope to get top 5 and be as consistent as I can, maybe go for a couple of wins if that's possible. I'd like to get into Grand Prix for sure and perhaps ride a 125 but maybe a 600 and MotoGP. I really love watching those guys; Casey Stoner, Nicky Hayden, Mika Kallio, he was really fast last year on the 250. Plus Marco Simoncelli, they're all incredible riders."
