It has been two consecutive weekends of races and two new circuits for me. The first Brno, in the Czech Republic. A very fun circuit with many ups and downs. On the grid I managed to leave from the 10th position. In the first race I was running with the second group and I finished in P13.
I would have liked to stay ahead and wanted to try it in Sunday's race. It was a wet race, after a regular start when I started to overtake some riders I had the bad luck that a colleague fell in front of me, I touched him and I went down. I had a hard time starting the bike but at least I was able to get back on track and finish the race.
Before the race in Austria we had 3 days off and went to visit Vienna, a beautiful city. The other two days we went to visit the Tirol.
It's an incredible area.
I really liked the mountains I went to walk, with beautiful landscapes.
The Red Bull Ring circuit is amazing too. The part that I liked the most was the first sector. In the free practice we managed to put a very good set up thanks to the help of Santi, who is always working to have the bikes to our liking.
In the Qualy I got the 13th position, but I felt very good on the bike. In the first race I finished in the 9th position, just 0.099 off the 8th and rolling very close to the head group.
In Sunday's race my goal was to improve, but it could not be. It was hard for me to do some parts of the circuit and I was only able to finish 15. I would have liked to finish better, I tried hard but I couldn't get it.
In less than a month we have the next race at the Misano circuit. Until then I will continue working hard to be strong and fit to face the race in the best way possible.
I also want to thank the whole staff of the Red Bull Rookies Cup for the great work they are doing with all of us.
Greetings to all and much GAS !!!!!!
