My last blog was a while ago. That's because I was very busy with learning for school. I had to pass this year my final exams. The only nice breaks I had were the Aragon test week with the positive achievements. And of course the unfortunate race in Jerez. The rest of the time my focus was on the study and on maintain my condition.
Immediately after the race weekend in Jerez followed a few weeks of final exams. In the meantime we went to the dentist and to the physiotherapist to cope with the consequences of the crash in Jerez. The dentist checked my teeth because we thought some of them were maybe damaged by the crash.
The physiotherapist treated my right shoulder, which was also beneficial for passing my exams, because I'm a right-hander and I had troubles with writing. But first of all it is important to become in top-shape for my home race in Assen.
Since I've passed my exams with success, I can fully concentrate on racing and on the TT Assen in the Cathedral of Speed. Just in case I trained recently also in full wet conditions on our circuit. Prior to the race weekend there's for the Dutch media a pre-press conference. Of course as a Dutch rider I was present as well and I did several interviews.
In a few days we will meet each other again. I'm fit and I'm looking forward to the TT!
