As we get closer to the start of our 2018 season I wanted to tell you all a little about my pre-season training so far!
Just after the last race of 2017, my parents and I returned to our home in Florida. For the past months I have been able to prepare in a very complete way and I am feeling very strong for this year.
Trading tips with a little guy
Going into my 3rd year of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup I have my objective set of being a Championship Contender and fighting for the podium every race weekend. Last year's season taught me very important points that I have been working on this off-season. For this reason and for my overall feeling of my technical, physical, and mental state right now, I know I am ready to fight for the objective.
Having a great time with JD Beach, 2008 Rookies Cup Champion and AMA champ
From October up to now I have been able to ride on big tracks with 600cc and 1000cc bikes, including some great track time with D Beach (see main photo).
Also motocross with my 450cc and a 250cc, supermoto, dirt track, and mini bikes on smaller circuits. For physical training off track I have been pushing myself in more uncomfortable scenarios, adding running, cycling, and mountain biking.
Overall my training this off-season has been strong and I feel more prepared than ever. I want to thank those that have put their part in for making my training very successful. I will take these sensations and experience with me to get the best out of my 3rd season in the RBRC!
I can't wait to see the team again and jump back on the KTM, just 2 months to go! I want to give a big thank you to the RBRC staff for giving me the amazing opportunity once again, to my sponsor Pole Position Travel, and to my family for making this possible!
Thank you all and see you soon,
