Blog | Kazuki Masaki with great rides in Brno and a fantastic win at the Red Bull Ring

Hi Everyone,

I will tell you about the last four races.

Brno: Race 1

The riders at the front of the pack rider rode aggressively in this race, unfortunately my bike wasn't tuned as well as it could've been so I decided to stay in the group and planned on chasing the leader in the last three laps.

But I couldn't do it, however I could overtake the third placed rider to come in third place. I really needed a podium finish in this race to break into the top three rankings on the points table, so I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Brno:Race 2
Conditions for this race were wet because of rain, I took extra caution to ride carefully, not take risks and try to finish in the top 8 places but to no avail, I wiped out on the fifth to last lap! So disappointed!!

Red Bull Ring: Race 1

During the first lap, both the first and second ranked riders crashed. I saw this as an opportunity to get as many race points as possible.

I rode for victory and was under pressure from the group behind me but just couldn't overtake the leader for the win and had to settle for second place.

Red Bull Ring: Race 2

The pack was pretty big in this race, I tried to break away several times but couldn't. I could stay with the top five riders as my pace was pretty good and I felt confident I could pull away on the last 3 laps into first place.

But I had four riders closing in on me, the last lap was quite frenetic and I thought someone would definitely overtake me. I braked hard on the second to last corner and was overtaken but I could regain the lead and squeeze in to win the race!!! What an amazing feeling!! I was over the moon!!

I'm looking forward to Misano and the battle to be Number One!

See you there,
