Blog | Jordan wins BSB round in Knockhill

Hi all,

Just getting ready for our trip to Assen. Seems like ages since we did a Red Bull round. Been busy with all the normal things, training hard, cycling and mowing the lawn.

Had an exciting weekend last week. Have been spending a lot of track time time with my new KTM Moto3 which I will compete in the British Nationals for the rest of the season. I also would like to do some CEV races in Spain.

Last weekend I rode it at Knockhill Scotland in the BSB Championship. Steve Patrickson who is a ten-times British Champion and has been my team manager for several years spent lots of time with me setting up the bike. Santi kindly gave us our Red Bull settings and we had lots of track time for Steve to fine tune the suspension and get it just right. I just need slightly heavier springs in the forks. Started the BSB race from third on the grid,

Poor old Taz could not race as his bike had dropped a valve in qualifying but came on the grid with me to give me support. Got a good start. Had a race long battle with the guys at the front and managed to take my first ever BSB win. It was fantastic.

My KTM is just the greatest motorcycle I have ever ridden. I just love it to pieces. Hope all goes well at Red Bull and I can put my BSB experience to good use. Having a KTM BSB bike and a Red Bull Rookie KTM makes me feel like I am dating twins.

Look forward to seeing everyone in Assen. Hope it will be a good one. Travel safe and see you there.
