Blog | Jordan hoping for good weather

Hi All,

Well the last race in Estoril was not great for me unfortunately. Only 19th on the grid. Just couldn’t seem to get a good lap in.

Had to put the bike down on the first lap to avoid 2 riders that fell in front of me.  (That was scary!!)  Got back on and did my best and eventually finished 16th.

Although I did not have a great result I am feeling much better with the bike and my confidence is growing.  I actually managed to scrape my elbow for the very first time.

So a big thank you to Alex, Gustl and the team and especially Juan my mechanic who helps me so much with preparation and set-up. Nothing is too much trouble for him.

Oh well – onto the next one Silverstone where I have raced once before in BSB. Hoping the weather is good. England is so unpredictably compared to South Africa. Just last week at Snetterton had fantastic sunshine and was just like racing at home. This week back to rain again. fingers crossed we get a dry race.

Look forward to seeing you all at Silverston.

Bye for now
