As you know I went to Spain for two weeks, my intentions for this trip were to improve my riding style to another step. Here's how I got on:
For the first weekend in Spain I spent time with Circui Moto, this was to help me understand why I needed to change my style. We did a lot of work on improving my riding, I feel although the work ethic we put in across this weekend helped me completely change. I am confident that this will give me the step I am looking for.
For the following week, I spent time alone. This was to give myself time to apply the new style. It felt strange at first but I did lap after lap to help make it feel more natural. I rode my Moriwaki 250 and NSF 100 to help apply the style. Even though the weather wasn't the best, I had a lot of fun riding.
The following week we travelled to the Finestrat track, this was to represent the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and for the kids to get a photo opportunity. This was where it started for me so it was nice to go back. I had a lot of fun this week, not just through riding my CRF 150 but also seeing old friends and having a laugh.
For the final leg of our stage we went back up to Circuit de la Ribera to ride for the last two days. I had fun riding my Husqvarna 450, it was nice to see some of my team mates from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup as well.
I would like to thank everyone who made this trip possible, I have had the best off season in my career so I'm hoping to apply that in to my 2018 season!
See you all soon,
