Sean Kelly and Adrián Carrasco

Blog | Adrián Carrasco doing a great job at the Sachsenring

Hello everyone,

My name is Adrian Carrasco I carry the number 28.

My weekend in the German Grand Prix was very good for my respect to the championship, when I arrived I was a bit nervous because it was a new circuit for me but I had everything I liked that was easier to adapt than to the weather.

In the first free practice I got to know the track and tried the new asphalt since the circuit had been resurfaced and the truth was I was not given anything bad.

In the second free practice I tried to pick a rhythm for the qualifying, we classified the ninth but there were still things to be touched up that would be seen in the qualifying.

In the qualifying I started to pick up rhythm and to feel very satisfied with the bike since the bike was very well. After half of the qualifying I was fourth i was hallucinating, I believed that I stole the time but it was not so I was classify fourth.

The first race was declared wet I was thinking of not risking much that if I lost positions nothing happened but after half of the race felt with rhythm i started to pass people who had in front I got fourth that was my initial position.

I had to keep the position and I was battling with Steward in the last corner on the last lap, he tried to pass but was long I exited faster and i was fourth. I was very happy with this position I tried to do the same in the second race.

The second race was dry and in the dry we had rhythm to be in front but in the first laps I started to tighten positions but in the middle of the race I picked up the rhythm and I picked up the group I had before. I could not get out of the group because we passed many times it was a chaos but in the end I got a seventh position for the championship these are very valuable points.

Now to think about Brno and prepare very well to follow this line that is very good.

See you in Brno !! Full gas
